What is your daytime skincare routine? Every morning I cleanse my skin with Elemis Pro-Radiance Cream Cleanser, then I tone with Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner. I follow that with two drops of Pro-Collagen Advanced Eye Treatment and Pro-Collagen Quartz Lift Serum to the face. I also use the Pro-Collagen Lifting Neck and Marine Cream followed by Elemis’ Liquid Layer Sunblock with a SPF 30. I follow this routine every morning including brushing my teeth.
What is your nighttime skincare routine? This is very much the same as my daytime routine in terms of cleansing and toning however I also use Elemis’ Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm, an amazing product that dissolves makeup and daily grime. The last step to my nighttime routine is moisturising with the pro-Collagen Oxygenating Night Cream.
Favourite beauty product? I love my Chantecaille mascara.
Favourite skincare product? Can you guess? Every single Elemis product is my favourite product!
Healthy habits? I believe a healthy nutritious diet can help you look and feel your best and the same goes for the kids. I have three kids and am very conscious about what we all eat which mostly includes fruit, vegetables, fish and chicken. I will also include treats because I believe nothing good can come from depriving oneself. You just end up with a diet that is tedious, monotonous and boring. I also drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day for obvious reasons.
Any tips/advice? You need to add skin exfoliation to your weekly routine. Once or twice a week, exfoliate and follow with a nice mask according to your skin type. And please don’t forget to leave the house without sunblock on your face. Damage to your skin can happen whether it’s winter or summer. Keep in mind ‘prevention’.
You have five minutes to tend to your face. What do you apply? My daily routine only takes 5 minutes so I do that and I’m good to go.
