The Doghouse Bakery

The Doghouse BakerySince bringing Indie home, papa and I have been spoiling her rotten. I wouldn’t go as far as to say that she gets more hugs and kisses from us than Georgie does but you get the idea. This, I reckon, is also the reason she doesn’t always listen to us. Things are much better now but during the first month I couldn’t get her to go into her kennel or come or stay or do anything that she really didn’t want to do.

It’s taken time to train her and establish some basic rules but we’re slowly getting there with the help of treats, which are absolutely vital when training a dog.  We’ve tried a few brands but the one we really like, the one we’re comfortable with and the one that Indie happens to prefer is The Doghouse Bakery.

The Doghouse Bakery

Made in Cyprus, they contain 100% natural ingredients that are mixed and baked to create the ultimate healthy doggy treats. Cooper’s Apples, which are the treats Indie likes, are made from peanut butter, bananas and apples, which means you and I can eat them too! I had very little hope that Indie would enjoy them when I bought a packet at The Doghouse Bakery stall at an outdoor market so imagine my shock when she devoured the first and then sat down, head up, tail wagging, a clear sign of ‘Mama I want more!’

At the market I also noticed some of the brand’s other treats made with ingredients like parsley, oats, wholewheat flour and cheese and natural flea and mosquito repellant collars and bandanas, which I am eager to try on both Indie and Tano.

And I must mention that The Doghouse Bakery wouldn’t be a real doghouse bakery if it didn’t specialise in birthday cakes for its customers! Yep, this place is my kinda place, for spoiled rotten little doggies!

You’ll be able to get some treats and find all The Doghouse Bakery products at City Markets held at Akadimias Park in Aglantzia
