Motherhood

The Parent Hood / 25

This week has been a stressful one and to top it off I’ve spent more hours in front of my laptop than I normally do so to say I am looking forward to a nice relaxing weekend is an understatement. We’ll be doing plenty of Christmas planning and making lists which I am excited about because I freakin’ love Christmas! So no surprise that this week’s The Parent Hood has a bit of a holiday vibe.

1.  Classic or soon-to-be classic Christmas books for kids. Every year I get more excited about spending Christmas with Georgie because every year I can introduce him to one more book/movie/tradition.

2. How to Christmas tree lights. Hint: Don’t go around and around.

3. These are the type of kids things I like.

4. Why is my daughter so strong? By Malala’s father.

5. The influx of free imported clothes is destroying the local industry in Kenya. An interesting article on how the owner of a shoe line is using donated t-shirts to try and save the kenyan fashion industry.
