Rosemary garlic bread

DSC_0001I’ve been meaning to attempt more bread recipes but I’m afraid my options are limited. Currently, I am stuck on dry active yeast based recipes but I do plan to start my sourdough ‘feeding’ that will able me to go for more bread baking options.DSC_1018The moment I saw the words ‘rosemary’ and ‘garlic’, I was sold. I love garlic bread, so I gave this recipe a go without hesitation. It’s an easy bread recipe albeit an impatient one. Start in the morning if you plan to have some for dinner because there’s a five hour wait with a step in between before you pop it in the oven. Some fuss, yes but worth it. I messed up the first loaf I put in the oven and wasn’t very happy with the result but the second one was heaven. Dipped in olive oil with a plate of tomato sauce spaghetti? Truly yummy.DSC_0002DSC_0004DSC_0007DSC_0008DSC_0010DSC_0015As you can see, this one flattened after I tried to cut it, mainly because I baked it with the grill on! Let’s hope I remember to not switch the grill on when I bake this again.
