When Fun Teepee got in touch with me about working together on a blog post I jumped at the chance. I love teepee tents, the whole concept has a magical vibe to it that’s unbeatable. We have always had one in the house and the kids love it. Georgie got his first one when he was two and a half, he still likes lounging around in it. Recently we decided to upgrade to this beautiful one that the younger kids really enjoy too. So I knew that bringing five teepees into our living room for a pyjama/sleepover party would be a brilliant idea. I was right. Georgie’s 8th birthday party was a huge success. Both magical and functional, every one including the adults thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Fun Teepee is a very new and small business based in Limassol and run by mum-of-one, Ana. Their stock includes a variety of themed teepees and other handmade products used to create a magical atmosphere that will take your breathe away. The look on our friends’ faces and their little ones’ when they walked into our house and saw the teepees decorated with twigs and owls and fur rugs and blankets, plaques and fairy lights and lamps and garlands. Priceless!
One of Fun Teepee’s most brilliant features is the fact that all teepees come with mattresses, single or double, scented bed sheets and various pillows and cushions. Which brings me to the next brilliant feature: you do not have to do anything! Communicating with Ana via Instagram and then on the phone was a piece of cake. She came to our home on the day of the party, she set up everything while I tried to seem helpful and put a bed sheet on one of the mattresses. Nothing was required of me. All I had to do was push the furniture out of the way and sit back.
Also included in the package were individual breakfast trays which the kids loved. Not having to eat at the table? And eat while watching a movie in their pyjamas in a teepee tent? They were in heaven. None of the parents including myself could believe how much they enjoyed playing in them throughout the entire evening. The kids at our little party ranged from 5 to 11 and they all had fun in their own way.
Fun Teepee has more coming soon like a wedding kids corner that sounds like something that will definitely work. They also do spa parties and if you have kids under six, you can arrange a daytime party with everything set up and taken away the same day. You also have the option of buying a teepee- which are handmade by the way- or other products featured in their packages.
This little party was held for our dearest and nearest friends. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed, the lights were low and the pizzas and cakes were plenty. The kids were in a great mood and everyone kept reminding each other just how beautiful this little party was.
