This evening, after tucking in Georgie, papa, S and I stepped outside for a ciggie and a glass of wine. Looking at the poor state my unimaginative drawings on the veranda wall were, we decided to get down and dirty. Enjoyed every minute of it!

I finally got around to getting georgie fingerpaints. Basically, I was browsing this awesome blog called Entertaining Monsters and found this fantastic idea to incorporate into his first fingerpainting session. I got a blank canvas, bought some stickers which I stuck on the bottom of the canvas and let him run wild!He began slowly…only putting his fingers in his mouth once before going absolutely crazy. I swear in a single second the paint was EVERYWHERE. I used a whole pack of wet wipes, which worked surprisingly well on georgie and the floor and the kitchen cabinets and my nose!My baby’s first piece of art!
…Georgie and I chilled. We had strawberries and weetabix for breakfast……went to the mall for a milkshake and some book browsing… (ended up buying wrapping paper and a DVD)……took a quick trip to the park for some ice cream……and we then ended the day getting dirty, feeding Tano and using our new chalk on the veranda wall. I picked up this natural and above all washable chalk from Tigadoo, one of the only-if not the only- eco-friendly kids’ stores in Nicosia. Such a great variety of wooden toys, clothes and hygiene products. Love that place!Moments like these make me wish I could feckin draw! But I can’t so poor Georgie will have to do with a orange-lemon tree. Hope you have a lovely weekend!xxx
I have just dropped Georgie off at his grandmother’s. He will be staying the night and i have no plans so here’s what I’ll do
1. Wash my hair.. I can’t even remember that last time…think it was Saturday. Eeek! maybe i should put on a mask too.
2. Cut my toenails. Why is everything I am mentioning so gross?
on Friday my brother turned 24! We threw him a sort of impromptu surprise party which he really appreciated despite saying he hates surprises. I mean, who hates surprises???After dropping Georgie off at grandma’s I turned up the volume on my new Black Keys album and got ready. New Rolling Stones t-shirt on display!i was in charge of the decorations…but obviously not very observant when it came to picking them out! It turns out i also need work in photographing surprise parties because I failed to get my brother’s expression when he walked in. Happy birthday bro!xxx
