As a parent, you know just how stressful things can be from time to time. While sometimes the things that cause us stress can be outside of our control, sometimes the stressful thing is something that we can influence. Take our homes, for example. While the outside world is its own beast, when it comes to your house, it’s important to create a space that can allow you to relax. While there are positive actions you can take (such as adding incense and so on), sometimes the most positive changes we can make involve minimising the stress-inducers. Keeping up with my Be Happy Be Healthy series and all the little things I am doing to stay on a positive vibe track, I wanted to tell you all about my meditation journey. Up until a couple of months ago and despite knowing all the amazing benefits that come with shutting down my brain for a few minutes every day, I couldn’t meditate. Not for the life of me. No matter how much I tried, I felt lost and unable. It felt scary.
