Hello! And Happy New Year to you all! Right now I am writing this blog post with my feet up and a mild curry bubbling away on the stove. Georgie is reading a book in his bedroom, too loudly as usual, and James is fast asleep. So here’s what else we’ve been up to.
Motherhood
Georgie and I are looking forward to setting up a stall at the Children’s Flea Market this Sunday at the To Xani Christmas Market at The Cookery School in Paramytha, Limassol. We spent a good portion of the weekend rounding up all the ‘stuff’ the boys no longer need including toys and clothes and we couldn’t be happier knowing that it is all going towards a great cause. We would love to see you there!
I was zapping through channels the other night when I caught Sarah Jessica Parker’s I Don’t Know How She Does It movie. I’ve seen it once before and I remember laughing at that point in the movie when she’s in bed and she’s going through a list of what she has to do the next day. I totally do that! Do you? But here’s the thing: By the morning, I forget three quarters of that list. Soooo…
Once a month I visit an alternative therapist. He hooks me up with the vitamins and supplements my body needs and gives me tons of tips and advice on diet issues. As expected, we’ve now switched up my regular routine adding prenatal vitamins and making changes to my diet ensuring both me and baby are getting all the nutrients we need. Do you know what these are? After three pregnancies I’m still learning.
Georgie has asked for money to buy something from the school canteen. Brand new scary territory for me, guys. So here’s my question: Do you give your child money to take to school?
