I’ve decided to keep posting STUFF on a weekly basis. I enjoy sharing things I find interesting, funny, motivating or inspirational. But I’ve also decided to change it up a little bit and make it more personal. STUFF will take on a bit of a local character and be about five things I have found throughout the week that I like.
Motherhood
I’m always on the look out for ways to stay motivated. Being a stay-at-home mama can be great but I really need to watch it because by the end of the day I feel all I’ve been doing is folding laundry, changing nappies and staring at James. And while all that is absolutely fine, I need to start feeling more productive.
Those dreaded words came out of Georgie’s mouth. And I felt gutted. Thoughts of what I was doing wrong as a parent whizzed through my mind. Have you ever felt this way? That night I went into a research frenzy, trying to find a reason to justify my child’s feelings. And I came across something really interesting.
There’s so much information out there, so many different products and gadgets, it’s no wonder new mums can get lost when it comes to buying stuff for their new baby. As a second-time mummy I thought it would be a good idea to list what I really use with James. The basics, no fuss, no muss.
Soon after I gave birth to James I received a lovely and above all useful little gift from a reader. The most perfect little baby blanket.
