Need I say ANYTHING! We are experiencing some weird weather conditions. It rained today. I think we’re nearing a tropical climate more and more every year. My really good friend Ilia was on TV this morning demonstrating her ridiculously perfect makeup skills. Woohoo! Georgie playing with his cousin in their new paddling pool. A beautiful breezy day at the beach where we also had some good old fashioned fish and chips with tons of vinegar! Devoured it in a second so no pics. Oops. Yiayia and pappou. Pick n’ Mix. Not really my idea of good fun unless chocolate is involved. Awesome birthday card. Homemade bolognese. Georgie in my dad’s MG. Mia and Oliver. Enjoy your weekend. I’m off to pack……..something is brewing…x
odd ends
Have a super great fabulous weekend!xxx
Georgie is at granny’s for the night so papa and I are just chilling…Watching Girl, Interrupted – for the millionth time-and obsessing over wood choices and beautiful magazine inspirations while of course trying to enjoy this gluten free chocolate cake. I have to say: no gluten, no good. Goodnight.
Yesterday was Georgie’s name day. Name days are a HUGE deal in Cyprus. People celebrate the day more than they do their birthdays. My in laws are people. So it was only natural that Georgie would have a big day and night ahead of him. He had a nap during the afternoon but it was nowhere near enough for him to last until 8. I stressed just about enough to forget my camera -so sorry but no pics. He ended up lasting until 9 when he started running around in circles, sulking and throwing his hands in the air in protest. I grabbed a tupperware my mother in law prepared for me and took him home. He was in bed by 9.30 but didn’t sleep his usual 12 hours. He slept 10 which isn’t bad I know. But how true is it that the earlier you put them to bed the more hours they’ll sleep.
