One morning I was stumped on what drink to make myself. I usually alternate between hot water with lemon or ginger and honey. But on that cold morning soon after I kissed papa and Georgie goodbye and before James woke up I had a craving for something milky and sweet. Since going dairy-free I’ve become addicted to almond milk which is the perfect main ingredients for golden milk.
So here’s what you need to make it:
– Almond milk
– Turmeric
– Cinammon
– Maple Syrup
Whisk everything except for the maple syrup in a small saucepan over medium to high heat until it begins to simmer. Pour, add maple syrup and drink up.
The health benefits are so many you’d be a fool not to give it a go. Turmeric is the star of the show as it can detox your liver, clear mucus, aid with weight loss and acne issues, help inflammed joints and the digestive tract.
