I have just dropped Georgie off at his grandmother’s. He will be staying the night and i have no plans so here’s what I’ll do
1. Wash my hair.. I can’t even remember that last time…think it was Saturday. Eeek! maybe i should put on a mask too.
2. Cut my toenails. Why is everything I am mentioning so gross?
3. Sort through Georgie’s new summer clothes and get rid of the ones he has outgrown. The other day I found a pair of trousers labelled 6-9 months. You can imagine the state of his wardrobe.
4. Write my sister’s birthday card. She turns 29 on Monday…and already has 3 kids!
5. Paint my toenails and nails. The weather’s warming up so it shouldn’t be long before I’m in my Havaianas. Plus, I bought a gorgeous bluey-grey nail varnish yesterday.
6. Try and understand that feckin iMovie program! I’m the type that always leaves stuff unfinished- I’d post a picture of the 1500 piece puzzle I began two months ago but it’s too embarrassing. iMovie is one of those projects but because I really really want to make a video with Georgie in it, I keep on pushing.
7. Clear the car out. I can juggle up to five bags while holding Georgie but sometimes things pile up. Currently there are two jackets, one cardigan, three bottles of water, one book, two shopping bags and pieces of floorboards I am looking at for the house we’re building.
8. Watch My Week with Marilyn. I hope it’s good.
9. Gossip on the phone with girlfriends. Actually i probably won’t do this one because I’m meeting them tomorrow for shopping with the kids. Should be fun.
10.P ut on some Edith Piaf while doing all the above
11. Tell my husband how much i love him and cuddle up on the couch without looking at the baby monitor every two minutes.
12. And of course, think about my perfect baby …every two minutes.
