Soon after I gave birth to James I received a lovely and above all useful little gift from a reader. The most perfect little baby blanket.
Made from 100% cotton its super soft and was an absolute dream when it came to swaddling James during these hot summer months. It’s actually designed to be used specifically in summer.
The blanket was sent to me by the lovely Anastasia of Smart Munchkins, a website that specialises in baby gear. But this isn’t your average run-of-the-mill baby stuff. Anastasia has carefully curated this online shop to include stuff you actually need.
There’s the awesome Cocoonababy nest that’s taking the internet by storm due to its cool design that repeats the shape of the womb and can limit colic and the risk of flat head syndrome. Apparently it was actually created for premature babies on the neonatal ward of the Hôpital Nord in Marseilles, France.
Another product that I found to be impressive is the BabyZen stroller. If you travel a lot then you’ll really appreciate this one because its the first folding buggy to fully comply with size recommendations for cabin luggage. It basically evolves with your child so you can expect it to suit all your needs from 0 to 3 years old.
There’s also a small selection of clothes and even sunglasses for babies which are worth checking out because its so important that our kids protect their eyes from the sun with genuine lenses just like we do.
You can order these baby necessities and other stuff including a newborn’s wardrobe collection of clothes, a sleeping bag and my favourite baby blanket, all made of 100% natural soft cotton and anti-allergy materials in a variety of colours, from the Smart Munchkins website or check out their Facebook page here.
