the camel park

Sunday. With no lunches or birthday parties to attend, our little family called for a mini road trip- really, is it possible to take any other kind with a 20-month old? Papa and I decided Zygi, a little fishing village outside of Limassol, would make the perfect destination. We took the coastal road and found a sign for a camel park. Er, no-brainer. Georgie had just woken up from his brief nap in the car so we headed straight to the camel park and then to Zygi for fresh fish. It was a pretty full but exciting day for my little dude who couldn’t wait to start feeding the camels and horses. A truly great place to take kids for a fun day out. just watch those ostriches!

He loves emptying out the fridge alphabet magnet jar and is a bit obsessed with that canon toy thing they give you with every Happy Meal (yes, he has had a Happy Meal. Actually, quite a few. He can even hold a hamburger properly and loves ketchup with it. But this is a rare situation. I will admit.)

OK, so it didn’t literally blow the market away but it was heartbreaking…watching that big black cloud covering a month’s worth of preparation and a day’s  worth of fun. We had hardly finished grooming our stall when the first clouds appeared. I decided to leave my bruised baby with his grandparents and ignore my lack of sleep after our stay at the hospital and this is what happens?? To be honest I don’t regret it. I love the rain. And i got to see my friends and take some cool shots.      C’est la vie!
