A couple of months ago I saw a video featuring these awesome water balloons that fill up and tie themselves. It was one of those things that I wish I could get my hands on but knew I probably couldn’t. Then last week while I was walking through Jumbo I saw them and went berserk!
Only a few days left before our holidays commence and we make our way to a hotel by the beach. You can imagine how much we (me) are looking forward to it. Although, as I said to a friend the other day, holidaying with a newborn is unchartered territory so I’m not sure if I should even bother taking a book with me! But honestly who cares? No cleaning or cooking for one whole week! Yay!
This summer, we’ve been spending most of our time at home, entertaining friends and family and of course a newborn. While we’re lucky to have a home with a garden and a patio, said patio needs some serious summer lovin’.
I’ve found ways to spruce it up, on a budget and with little maintenance. I love the idea of plenty of colourful throws and cushions, various lanterns, fairy lights and potted plants, rugs and wall decor pieces too. Here’s what inspired me:
She’s one of my all-time favourite British TV and radio presenters, has the kind of quirky laid-back style that I love and she’s a mum to two little ones. I am slightly obsessed with Fearne Cotton for all these reasons but more so since she published a kick-ass cookbook with tons of healthy recipes that are super easy for any mum to whip up.
