It’s been a full week. Appointments, afternoon activities, a lively four year old and a papa who has been knee-high in Cyprus Rally preparations all week make me want to scream TGIF! Tonight I’m posting from bed, feet up. I’m watching Breaking Bad reruns and snacking on almonds covered in dark chocolate. Yep, I’m pretty happy right now.

Alternative consequences for kids

Lately, Georgie’s been trying my patience. There are moments when it’s like I’m not even there, like my voice cannot be heard, like I have to do a silly dance or scream ‘F@£%’ at the top of my lungs. I actually haven’t tried that yet. Instead I thought I’d try a less crazy and more creative route.

Mixed Tape // 2

RETO: Sell your stuff and help those in need

Before making the move into our new home, papa and I made a deal: Nothing unnecessary would be coming with us. It seemed to me that our lives were drowning in an abundance of stuff we didn’t use therefore didn’t need. Migraines would occur whenever I opened my cupboard or looked in a drawer. Later on stress would build up and choke me as I failed to put the image of chaos out of my mind. We filled boxes, said ‘goodbye stuff’ and carried on with our lives.
