I could easily dive into the emotional whirlwind a mother experiences when her firstborn grows up and hits this major milestone but I think I’ll spare you. And me. Because after the week from hell with James and an ear infection all I have to say is this: Georgie is six years old and that is a statement I am so very proud to make.

A few months ago I came across a blog post on Buddha Bowls. Have you heard of them? As far as I’m concerned this is exactly the type of excitement that healthy eating was missing. A big bowl packed with all sorts of colourful goodies, a custom-made dish with which you can let your imagination run wild.
Sorry about the lack of STUFF these past two weeks. I was thinking of scheduling a post last week when we were away but I decided to just take the day off! Ha!
1. I’m hoping to make it to this Get Fresh event on Saturday.
2. I don’t have the FB app on my phone but apparently everyone’s stoked about discovering another hidden message inbox on there so check it!
1. How to write smarter to do lists.
2. Six ways marathon training helped me cope with life.
3. Get Fresh did something really nice.
4. What it’s like to get pregnant at 15.
5. I want this nude lipstick.
6. Free Greek writing classes for kids in Cyprus. Such a great idea.

Over the past year or two, here in Nicosia, we’ve witnessed an eruption of brunch spots and while I couldn’t be happier about the progress being made in the culinary department of my city, I have my favourite: Get Fresh. There are lots of reasons why I love this place and now I’ve got one more. I was there picking up a juice the week before my birthday when I spotted a Kids Menu section on their brunch menu. How awesome! So on the morning of my birthday while papa had a few things to do, Georgie and I headed to Get Fresh for some brunch.
