As I am writing this, I am suffering with the world’s biggest headache EVER. Yes, I am miserable. And even though we received news this week that we won’t be in our new home by Georgie’s birthday -probably the reason for said headache- we managed to have a very creative and happy week. We went to one of my favourite shops in Nicosia, the Rainbow art supplies store, where I stocked up on colourful goodies for Georgie’s party decorations. Last night, the TV stayed off, the music was on and I spent the night painting cups and making foam stamps with S. Spray paints and crepe paper and stencils and glue. All definitely worked some magic.
It’s been all around these last few days. My daddy, as you can see, has arrived home safe and sound. Seeing him here, spotting him walking Bear, his new dog, and watching him enjoy a homemade Sunday lunch with all the people who have been so good to him over the month makes me want to thank each and every one of them and say a big I Love You!

Just 23 days older than Georgie and with a mighty temper, I woke up at 6.30 on Monday morning to welcome A expecting the worse. But bloody hell, how wrong was I! Give them paints and you can bake a big batch of chocolate chip cookies with minimal intervention as well as check your e-mails. I loved spending time with them, watching them interact, becoming mini men.
