Spent an entirely relaxing day yesterday which didn’t even include checking my e-mails. that’s how relaxing it was! so today i’m posting a super yummy and healthy lunch Georgie and I really enjoyed. i stopped by Get Fresh and picked up some sushi for me, edamame and a salad with fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes and avocado for georgie. i also sneaked in some rice from my sushi. i haven’t given him any to try yet-sushi, i mean- even though the doc did say it’s ok. i feel i should give him a little more time and then papa, him and me can all go out for sushi and maki.
This evening, after tucking in Georgie, papa, S and I stepped outside for a ciggie and a glass of wine. Looking at the poor state my unimaginative drawings on the veranda wall were, we decided to get down and dirty. Enjoyed every minute of it!
Georgie has a lot of love surrounding him. His grandfather, who he is also named after, is one of the most important people in his life. He had been meaning to buy a little house for Georgie to play in when he stays over but eventually decided to make one out of cardboard! It’s so cute and even has a chimney and a door handle! you can tell how much the little dude loved it.Have a happy happy weekend!xxx
I finally got around to getting georgie fingerpaints. Basically, I was browsing this awesome blog called Entertaining Monsters and found this fantastic idea to incorporate into his first fingerpainting session. I got a blank canvas, bought some stickers which I stuck on the bottom of the canvas and let him run wild!He began slowly…only putting his fingers in his mouth once before going absolutely crazy. I swear in a single second the paint was EVERYWHERE. I used a whole pack of wet wipes, which worked surprisingly well on georgie and the floor and the kitchen cabinets and my nose!My baby’s first piece of art!
