Ever since purchasing my first laptop in a VERY long time, I’ve become a tad obsessed with the internet. Actually, ever since I started this blog I’ve become obsessed. I can’t get enough of gorgeously designed blogs, crazy ideas on photography and food and the large community of mummy bloggers there is out there. It really is becoming an integral part of our generation, blogging I mean. Call it what you want but it is opening my eyes more and more each day. Here are bits and bobs I found interesting over this past week. Have a look.

How would you feel stepping into one of your favorite shops and being welcomed with 50% discount on everything? Yep. Today was a good day. My Shop on Ledra Street, I love you! I mean, 50 euros for that wall clock? Seriously? I also grabbed four gorgeous melamine Rice plates and a jam makers set, which I intend to use within the next few days. I hope. Oh, by the way check out my little dude’s new espradilles. 12 euros, Next Baby.
This has been a very good week regarding eating. There’s fresh summer produce at our local organic market on a regular basis and Georgie has been diving in. Stealing a cucumber or tomato, at said market, is now both acceptable and welcomed, so I’m happy. Here’s what’s been on the little dude’s menu over the past few days. Waffles, bought at Lidl, organic blueberry yoghurt and organic strawberries for breakfast. Organic fish fingers and tartare sauce. He wasn’t too keen on the tartare sauce but he did make a point of using it to cover his entire face, as usual. Cous cous with tomatoes and feta and tons of olive oil and lemon. Tofu hot dogs in a bun and avocado. P.S He ate the hot dogs and gave the bun to the dog. Raisin bread with butter, cheese and cut up cherries.
Hope you’re all relaxed and rejuvenated and above all ready for another stupendously hot week. xxx
Just like me, I’m guessing you too spend a lot of time in the supermarket checking labels and trying to remember figures and statistics. It’s horribly depressing and frustrating especially when all you have to worry about is the health of your kid! I wish I could say Georgie eats nothing but fresh produce. No canned stuff. Nothing that contains ingredients I can’t even pronounce. But I would be lying – shamelessly hang of head. He loves these caramel waffle biscuits- organic, naturally- and a lollipop – a nail-biter half an hour- every now and then so i would hate to restrict him to just fruit as a snack when he’s on the go.
