If you have kids, then you will want them to have the best time whenever you go on vacation. This is understandable, but if you want this to be the case, then you need to take a few steps to ensure their complete comfort at all times.
travel
Last Saturday night I was sitting on the floor, outdoors, in an music arena, by the water in Faliro, Athens with a beer by my side and not a care in the world. I am about to dance and sing with thousands of people to the rhythms of rock legend, Iggy Pop. I noticed a feeling, the same feeling I always get when I am part of a large crowd at a music festival. Good vibes take on a completely different meaning during long warm summer moments like these. I have been traveling to summer music festivals abroad on and off over the past 8 years and it is an experience I am literally hooked on.
we went to Spain! it was a trip we had planned when I was pregnant with Danny. two of our closest and dearest friends decided to tie the knot in the bride’s hometown of Toledo and there was no way we were going to miss it. mainly because papa was the best man too.
you can now fly directly to Madrid from Larnaca with Cobalt, which is great and one of the main reasons we decided to take this trip with the two older kids. Switching flights with kids in tow is not my idea of fun. Danny stayed behind with our family who was fully equipped with 81 bags of frozen breastmilk! more than he would go through in one week but I wanted to make sure he would not go without.
I had this blog post, about my two day holiday without any kids in Athens, planned out two weeks ago. But then that horrible thing happened and I didn’t have the heart to post anything.
For the first time in over two years papa and I enjoyed a long weekend away, just the two of us, no kids. We flew to Brussels to go to one of the best rock music festivals in Europe, Rock Werchter.
