I am wearing slipper booties right now, so I am officially saying bye to summer. It’s been a blast. The festivities and events, barbeques with friends, late afternoon swimming in the sea, daily excursions and weekend vacations with my little dude in tow are moments I love and live for. Looking forward to so much more in the coming years. But right now, give me cold, dreary, wrap-up-type-of weather. Apart from new warm clothes and accessories I’m dying to put Georgie in -not to mention Christmas songs I am extremely patiently waiting to listen to-, I am really stoked about using our new fireplace and spending our first Christmas in our home. Bring it on, autumn!

There is so much catching up to do on this little blog of mine. Shall we start with the weather? It’s been lovely and extremely wet these past few days. However, that subsequently meant that once Georgie was down for the evening I would make a little excuse about the rain, curl up in bed and watch The Walking Dead instead. Excellent tV show, by the way. I desperately wanted to take the 5 second walk to my mum’s where i can use the internet -because we still do not have a connection at the house- but zombies can be highly addictive, you know.We visit papa and Georgie’s grandparents at their workplace regularly and Georgie always ends up on the forklift with his pappou. However, over this past week he has taken this activity to another level. His face is dead serious as he turns the steering wheel and looks straight ahead. He really thinks he is driving it! It’s hilarious to watch. Little dude has also become an expert on taking pictures with my iPhone. This is his very first of me! Changing his nappy.By far the highlight of our week was the birth of this little lady. Her mama is one of my besties. So proud of you agapi. xxx
OK, so it didn’t literally blow the market away but it was heartbreaking…watching that big black cloud covering a month’s worth of preparation and a day’s worth of fun. We had hardly finished grooming our stall when the first clouds appeared. I decided to leave my bruised baby with his grandparents and ignore my lack of sleep after our stay at the hospital and this is what happens?? To be honest I don’t regret it. I love the rain. And i got to see my friends and take some cool shots. C’est la vie!
so apart from me injuring my child perhaps the weirdest news of all is the weather! Remember I was telling you how hot it was? Well this was the view from our window last night. It rained most of the day too but it’s still warm. And here i was about to put away my Uggs and bring out the Havaianas. In other news, Evo’s doing well…and my sister turned 29 on Monday. As with every celebration in Cyprus, the barbecue was prepared and meat was on the menu. Below is papa getting the chicken with yoghurt ready. Yummy.
