Danny, my youngest boy, is almost two years old. And up until now I haven’t felt inspired enough to create a cosy and dreamy bedroom for him. When you get to the point where you have three kids, somewhere along the line you lose interest in the little things that used to spark joy. I loved decorating Georgie’s bedroom when we first moved into our new home over 6 years ago- it was my favourite room in the house- and I put alot of effort into James’s bedroom when he came along but poor little Danny still had a banner with the name Georgie on his bedroom wall and a basket full of broken toys in the corner. Not anymore. With the help of a truly beautiful range of products from Okiddoky, I am happy to announce that my baby boy has his own beautiful and organised little corner.
Motherhood
This week the kids have been off school for half term, I’ve launched my new podcast and it was my birthday yesterday. Suffice to say it’s been a busy week. But no matter how busy things get, if it’s my birthday I want to have a mini celebration with my nearest and dearest. Organizing a party, albeit a small one, would have been a struggle with three kids and very little time, which is why I was so happy to work with Rocking Sugar for my 38th birthday celebrations.
I’m writing this with just one day away until a podcast I have created will launch. As always I keep it real and raw so here are some behind the scenes photos and words on how Mamma Mu, the one and only podcast for women and mamas in Cyprus was created.
Ever since I discovered a world of beautifully curated local lifestyle shops for kids, now I rarely, if ever, shop on the high street or at the mall. Especially when it comes to birthdays and Christmases. I absolutely love the fact that now I can buy my kids clothes, toys and books without feeling bad about the lack of sustainability and quality. I can support local businesses, ones that are run by mamas and families and I am able to offer my boys some of the best choices available to parents. All this fits in perfectly with my recent kiddie shop discovery, the Little Heroes Boutique in Nicosia.
Keeping up with my Be Happy Be Healthy series and all the little things I am doing to stay on a positive vibe track, I wanted to tell you all about my meditation journey. Up until a couple of months ago and despite knowing all the amazing benefits that come with shutting down my brain for a few minutes every day, I couldn’t meditate. Not for the life of me. No matter how much I tried, I felt lost and unable. It felt scary.
