Plant a Garden
Getting the kids involved in gardening has a few benefits. It’s a great way to make some memories and be able to see all of your hard work at the end of it. It can also teach your children some important skills. They’ll learn how to muck in and get their hands dirty while understanding the care and attention that goes into gardening. They can learn how to handle some basic gardening tools and how to create healthy plants. You could even grow some vegetables or other edible items so you can eat your produce.
Have a Family Photo Session
Taking photos has always been a fantastic way to preserve some family memories. You can take photos casually whenever you want, especially when you have a camera on your phone. But another option is to have a family photo session with a professional photographer. A family photography session could be something a little more formal, where you all get dressed up. But it could also be a fun time when you wear your favourite clothes, use some props and generally have fun. At the end, you’ll have some wonderful photos to look at whenever you want.

You could make something together with your children if you want to make some memories. Arts and crafts can get messy, but there are also so many things that you can make and do.
