I have had to keep this a secret for so long I am practically bursting to tell you all about the absolutely fantastic news that one of my favourite health food stores now stocks The Groovy Food Company !!! I was given a batch of different products to try out over Christmas. I’ve been glued ever since. I feel I have taken baking and cooking to a whole new level. And that’s not even the best part, it’s made my life as a mother of three who spends ALOT of time preparing meals, much easier. And guilt-free as everything is a tasty and natural alternative to refined and processed everyday cupboard staples.
I use the turmeric coconut oil religiously every morning to scramble my eggs. I add any veggies I have on hand including organic kale, also from Be Natural. I add a dash of pepper to it and enjoy a homemade nutritious breakfast. James loves stealing my eggs AND my avocado, so sensibly I tend to scramble three eggs and chop up a whole avocado.
One of the highlights of the range of products available on the shelves at Be Natural, is the coconut oil and avocado oil in SPRAY FORM. And I’m talking eco-friendly, totally gorgeous yet simple packaging. And so very useful when baking or cooking. I like using the avocado oil to jazz up the kids’ dishes with some new tastes.
The honey and agave nectar range is divine. I would have gladly walked away with the entire range even if it is impressively extensive. There’s agave nectar with strawberry flavour, blueberry, vanilla, toffee, maple and honey, cinnamon and caramel. I use the light amber and mild agave nectar in the kids’ hot drinks and love a splash of the rich and dark one on my pancakes. And let’s not forget about the agave chocolate sauce…And the absolutely best part is that all these products come in squeezable containers. Bonus points.
