By the way, how do you like Georgie’s new booties? They were given to him by his auntie Emilia.
Georgie is becoming more and more active everyday. He’s crawling, standing and even letting go and he isn’t even nine months yet! I’ve gotten tired of screaming No! every two minutes so our apartment has been subjected to some changes mostly including moving everything to higher grounds and giving him the occasional coaster and fruit to play with. However nothing interests him more than his daddy’s black leather belt. Weird right?
The moment I laid eyes on the white and breezy Souxou Mouxou Mantalakia I wanted to tell the world. New life is being pumped back into the old part of Nicosia and this little restaurant is one of many making this possible. We sat down for a nice lunch which included a green salad with grilled cheese, little fried balls of goat’s cheese and feta, mushrooms with a filling and beef meatballs on a stick. We paid 40 euros, which might be a bit pricey for some but we enjoyed a lunch thoroughly. Can’t say the same for Georgie who barely touched my lentil and rice mixture. i have to mention the bag-cum-chair I found at Mothercare, a godsend when there are no highchairs or wooden ones which Georgie doesn’t like. All you do is open the bag- which is basically the booster seat with a soft cushion -and strap it around any chair. They won’t be level with the table but it’s the best solution I could find when he won’t spend another minute in his pram. Oh. And it also comes with a changing mat and a pocket or two.
