Last Sunday, I had something special planned for Georgie and me. We were going to go to the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Limassol to taste their new brunch spread, which was created with kids in mind too. When I received an e-mail invitation including those words AND the mention of zea flour and goji berries I couldn’t wait.
This can definitely be classified as a way to be happy and healthy. Give your blog a facelift! I’ve been itching to do this for a while now so it feels good to finally see the new logo. And it feels even better to unveil the inspiration behind it: my new business cards designed by Design Lab, a local mother-run business that’s worth learning all about if you run a business too.
Going to bed early. This one was a tough one for me. I bet it is for most but perhaps especially for parents. We’re lucky to get just a couple of hours in the evening to ourselves into which we try to jam everything or we doing nothing and watch Netflix. For me, for ages, it used to be one or the other and in the end neither were doing me any good. So I decided to focus on going to bed earlier at least three to four times a week. Here’s how it has been.
I’m starting a blog series called Be Happy Be Healthy. It’s something I’ve always wanted to do mainly because I knew it would motivate me. I hope it does the same for you.
As a busy mother of three, time is of the essence in everything I do so I knew I wanted to avoid complicated/expensive/time-consuming methods. I want the simple and effective route.
The kids are back at school so I’m assuming, like me, you are faced with a landslide of forms to fill in and various belongings that need name tags. Ever since Georgie started preschool over four years ago I have been using a number of ways to keep track of his lunchbox and water bottle and school bag, all of which have disappointed me. So when I discovered Unicorns and Superheroes who specialise in kiddie stationery and name tag WATERPROOF stickers I knew I could now relax.
