let's play

Two

I looked at the clock tonight at precisely the time Georgie was born two years ago. And then I looked at my sweet little boy playing with his wind-up toy car on the floor. Yep. Time flies. But honestly, I didn’t dwell on that side of it too much. what Georgie wore

This post was supposed to be about my love for thrift shops and second-hand goods but today was the type of day that leaves me with enough energy to make homemade bolognese and watch a movie. Why? Food

in the kitchen—Quinoa and tofu snack

A quick trip to the health food store and Get Fresh this afternoon and we were ready to dig in to a vegetarian lunch. We are big meat eaters in this house but vegetarian options are very frequent due largely to Georgie who loves stuff like quinoa, broccoli and veggie tofu sticks. I found these veggie sticks at Be Natural in Aglantzia. They look like long hot dogs but are made from tofu. A healthy option compared to yesterday’s Happy Meal. Oops.
