Be Happy Be Healthy – Run

No I haven’t started running. I wish. It’s that one thing I wish I would do. There are so many benefits to it both for mind and body. I am hoping to inject some cardio into my little workout life that only includes pilates classes twice a week and tending to three kids on a daily basis. Birth Forward‘s upcoming participation in the Limassol Marathon 5km Corporate Race may just be the kick I need to finally do it.

On March 23 Birth Forward will be taking part in the race and raising money for their NGO, helping the volunteers carry out the amazing work they have been doing since 2015. You can find out more about Birth Forward by clicking on to the links I will add at the end of the post including blog posts I have written.

Its members include health professionals and passionate parents who are helping parents make autonomous choices about their own welfare and the welfare of the family they are creating. They provide advocacy, support and education for professionals and families by making sure they receive evidence-based, multidisciplinary information when deciding how they want to create and grow their family in Cyprus.

As a two-VBAC mum I understand the vital need for the existence of an organisation like Birth Forward … and also the need to run? So maybe I will lace up and give it a go. See you there?

When? Saturday, March 23 at 8:15. The race starts at 9 am.
